Professional Experience I have a Bachelors Degree of Business Administration in Finance from New Mexico State University along with a Minor in Entrepreneurial Management. I understand the complexities of business transactions and all that is required to make them close. I also owned and operated a successful business here in the Espanola Valley which helped me develop the necessary business relationships.

I know of property at the end of dirt roads, on top of mesas over looking majestic canyons, and most importantly I am not afraid to drive you there and walk all over the property.
Outside Interests I enjoy spending my free time with Family and Friends riding horses, camping, fishing and relishing all of the public land NM has to offer.

Getting to know Susan Lumley
Susan Lumley brings the professionalism and expertise of human relations to the field of real estate. Susan has been a Principal for sixteen years at schools like Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Texas. She has a proven record of success. She was selected Principal of the Year for the Greater Houston area and was quarterfinalist for the state of Texas in 2003.
Prior to school administration is was a very successful track and field coach at Trinity High School in Euless, Texas where she led both boys and girls track teams to 18 district championships and coached two state champions.
Her greatest strength is the ability to communicate, develop positive public relations, and guide people through processes collaboratively and strategically. Through her work in administration and coaching, she has gained credibility in being able to build strong relationships with a broad range of people.
Organization, follow through, attention to detail, excellent human relations, and innovation are skills that have made her successful. Bringing these talents to the profession of real estate is refreshing and unique. Selecting Susan as your real estate professional will bring state of the art techniques in purchasing or listing your home.
Susan has been in the business of selling the importance of education and innovation for 26 years. Motivating teachers to embrace change to meet the needs of students requires similar skills in guiding clients through the process of purchasing or selling property. Each day, week, and month requires extensive planning and coordination. Making events happen in an organized stress free manner is a skill requiring long range planning and organization.

A Message from Susan
My husband, John, and I moved from Huntsville, Texas (a small town 70 miles north of Houston) to Santa Fe because we had always vacationed in Northern New Mexico and enjoyed the climate and outdoor activities (we had to escape the Houston heat and humidity). We co-own The Running Hub, a running shoe specialty store in Santa Fe.
Living in Santa Fe allows me to embrace the great outdoors. I enjoy hiking, downhill snow skiing, river rafting, and running. Every Tuesday and Thursday night at 6:00 PM you will find me at The Running Hub training with a group of runners that are pursuing a healthy lifestyle and enjoying the camaraderie of working out with a group.
I am a sports enthusiast and enjoy watching live sporting events and coaching youth sports. Having coached track and field, volleyball, soccer, swimming, and basketball, I get a thrill out of training young children and young adults. Helping them to set goals and create a plan to achieve them is my life’s passion.
John and I have twin daughters, Haley and Holly, who attend Texas Tech University. The enjoy attending college, but like all Santa Feans, they can’t wait for school breaks to return to their mountains they love.
